The GeSPE Inj shot peening machine is an established compressed air blasting system for the targeted introduction of residual compressive stresses into gears and shafts. The energy-saving method of gravitational injector blasting is used here. The abrasive is pre-accelerated by gravity, further accelerated by means of compressed air and selectively delivered to the surface to be blasted.

Due to the very high abrasive velocity, very high residual compressive stresses are generated in components, which are nowadays state of the art, especially in the automotive industry.

The standard machine has 2 workpiece holders incl. workpiece covers which are loaded with components at the same time and after completion of the blasting process both components are removed.

Furthermore, we have a version in our portfolio which has 4 workpiece fixtures, 2 of which are located in the blasting chamber, the other two in the loading and unloading position. This version impresses with very low non-productive times and consequently increases the workpiece output significantly.

Both types of equipment have control systems that guarantee the blasting result in the long term and provide the customer with the necessary process stability.
